Harry Potter & Halloween Horror Nights

As you know, I adore Halloween. I was so lucky this year to have a bunch of super cool things to do that seemed very appropriate. I went to Harry Potter at Universal Studios in Orlando, as well as their Halloween Horror Nights 20th Edition, two weeks ago.

Here are some pictures of that weekend.
Keep reading to see the rest!

Harry Potter
(I know a lot of you won't be getting to Harry Potter soon and/or may have been curious about how it turned out. Btw, it completely feels like you're there. Amazing.)

Entrance to Hogsmeade
What the street looked like and the shops

Zonko's Interior - I bought a pink pygmy puff!

The Three Broomsticks didn't carry your typical theme-park food. It was three-stories tall inside and served rotisserie chicken with grilled corn on the cob with shucks intact, mashed potatoes and treacle tarts. Salads were served in metal bowls and it seemed a bit like the middle-ages.

The Three Broomsticks
Yep, that's Butterbeer. Think cream soda/candy corn with a touch of butterscotch. Then add creaminess to it. It had a creamy head on. It was by far the most wonderful thing EVER.

Hogwarts Castle
The Houses' Statistics
I have a bunch of photos of the castle's inside beyond these. They had moving paintings just like in the movies, the Sorting Hat, Dumbledore's chamber and it even snowed inside at one point. For real. Anyway, there was even more than that, but I don't want to bore you. The ride was intense. There was a large-scale Whomping Willow that about takes your head off at one point!

Dervis & Banges - wands, brooms, robes, the monster book that will bite you..

Olivander's Wand Shop

Perfect design, no?

I have a lot more photos, but I triiiiiied to reign myself in. :)

Halloween Horror Nights

There were so many awesome things. Eight haunted houses, two shows and six street hauntings. You couldn't take pictures inside, and it being night, there wasn't much I could show you. Here are a few good ones.

"You have nothing to fear except Fear himself." How perfect is this years theme?!

Me with haunted theater usher. Best!

Fear himself, with husband and creepy wraiths.

Day-of-the-dead section before nightfall. Trippy in the black lights later!
A "Leave it to Beaver"-like setting, except with zombies. I just loved this sign.

Harry Potter looks fantastic and I'm not even into Harry Potter but it definitely looks like a place I want to visit. Loved seeing all your photos of both places.
